English: Blazon:„Sable, above a tree stump gules in the base, a chamois rampant Argent.“
The arms were granted on July 15, 1981. The chamois is a symbol for the medieval privilege of the inhabitants of Grän to hunt some of them each year. In 1650 the privileges were confirmed and from then on it was allowed to use guns for the hunt. The tree stump is a canting symbol. Grän is derived from "Geröne"; it means cleared (forest) area.
Deutsch: Blasonierung:„In Schwarz über einem rotem Baumstumpf eine springende silberne (weiße) Gämse.“
Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Tiroler Landesregierung am 15. Juli 1981 verliehen. Die Gämse ist ein Zeichen für ein mittelalterliches Privileg, welche den Gränern erlaubte jährlich einige von ihnen zu jagen; ab 1650 durften auch Waffen dafür eingesetzt werden. Der Baumstumpf ist "redend". Grän stammt von "Geröne", was soviel wie gerodete Fläche bedeutet.
