A "Glycon Snake" symbolizes a creature of the Old-Greek mythology with an human head and a snake body. A such "Glycon Snake" was also a part of the antique "Asklepios"-worship and is probably origined in the Pre-Greek Macedonia region where it was also a godly symbol of fertility. For instance, a such mythological being is also mentioned by Horace. A "Glycon Snake" was also often embossed on antique coins.; stamp postmarked
