Object history
Deutsch: Das Gemeindewappen nimmt Bezug auf den Ortsnamen und die Ortsgeschichte. Der Name Haar ist abgeleitet von Hart (lichter Wald), der durch die zwei Bäume auf grünem Boden bildlich zum Ausdruck kommt. Das Rodungsbeil symbolisiert die Entstehung der Siedlung im Mittelalter als planmäßige Rodung in den westlichen Ausläufern des Ebersberger Forstes und die Urbarmachung des Bodens für die landwirtschaftliche Nutzung.
