Aasia Begum (Aasia nomi bilan mashhur) (1951-yil 13-noyabr – 2013-yil 9-mart) 1970, 1980 va 1990-yillarda faol boʻlgan pokistonlik kino aktrisasi edi[1].

tahrirAasia 1951-yilda Hindistonning Panjob shtatidagi Patiala shahrida tugʻilgan[2][3]. Asl ismi Firdous boʻlib, Hindistondan Pokistonga hijrat qilgan. U faoliyatini tugatgandan soʻng Nyu-Yorkda istiqomat qildi va u yerda 2013-yil 9-martda 60 yoshida vafot etdi[4].
Faoliyati
tahrirU Pokiston kino sanoatidagi ilk debyutini 1970-yilda prodyuser Shabab Kiranvining filmida ijro etgan [5] [6] . Xuddi shu yili u rejissyor Riaz Shahidning "Gharnata" (1970) filmida ham rol oʻynadi[7]. Aasia 179 dan ortiq panjob filmlaridan tashqari bir nechta urdu filmlarida ham rol oʻynagan [8].Aasia panjob filmi boʻlmish " Maula Jatt " (1979) dagi „Mukxo“ roli bilan yaxshi eslanadi. Bu rol Pokistonning panjob tilidagi filmlarida „Jatti“ va „Chaudhrani“ tushunchalarini qayta belgilab berdi. Oʻsha filmda u oʻzining panjabi tilidagi aksentini Sargodha va Jhang aksentlariga mos ravishda qoʻllagan.[9]

U 2011-yilda Karachi shahrida joylashgan Aga Khan universiteti kasalxonasida sogʻligʻi bilan bogʻliq muammolar tufayli davolanish uchun murojaat qiladi ammo keyinchalik tinchgina Nyu-Yorkka qaytishni afzal koʻradi[11].U 2013-yil 9-martda Nyu-Yorkda 60 yoshida nomaʼlum sabablarga koʻra vafot etdi [11] [12] [13] [14].
