Awarded to sailors of the Baltic Fleet who faithfully performed their official duties for 10 years or more as of 18 May 2003; to civilian personnel of the Baltic Fleet who faithfully performed their official duties for 25 years or more as of 18 May 2003; to other persons providing assistance in carrying out the assigned tasks of the Baltic Fleet.

Медалью Министерства обороны РФ "300 лет Балтийскому флоту" (далее именуется -медаль) награждаются: военнослужащие Балтийского флота, добросовестно исполняющие должностные обязанности и имеющие выслугу 10 лет и более в календарном исчеслении по состоянию на 18 марта 2003 года; гражданский персонал Балтийского флота, добросовестно исполняющие должностные обязанности и имеющие стаж работы с учетом военной службы 25 лет и более в календарном исчеслении по состоянию на 18 марта 2003 года; другие лица, оказывающие содействие в решении задач, поставленных перед Балтийским флотом.
