Ibn Tabotabo- Safiyuddin Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Tabotabo (arab. محمد بن علي بن طباطبا العلوي; 1262– 1309), “Ibn Tiqtaqo” nomi bilan ham tanilgan tarixchi edi.[1]

U Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abu Tolibning bevosita avlodlaridan bo‘lgan. Taxminan milodiy 1302-yilda u islom tarixiga oid mashhur “al-Faxriy” asarini yozgan.[2][3]

Siyosatshunos Vasileyos Sirosning fikricha, Ibn Tabotabo falsafasini Nikkolo Makiavelli falsafasi bilan taqqoslash mumkin.
