Nicholas Sims-Williams

Nicholas Sims-Williams (talaffuzi: Nikolas Sims-Uillyams; 1949-yil 11-aprelda tugʻilgan, Chatham, Kent) — London universiteti Sharq va Afrika tadqiqotlari maktabining (SOAS) ingliz professori, u yerda Eron va Markaziy ilmiy tadqiqot professori.
Yaqin va Oʻrta Sharq tillari va madaniyati kafedrasida ishlagan. Sims-Williams Markaziy Osiyo tarixi, xususan Soʻgʻdiy va Baqtriya tillarini oʻrganishga ixtisoslashgan olimdir. Sims-Williams milodning I-III asrlariga oid Qozogʻistonning Kultobeda topilgan soʻgʻd yozuvi ustida ish olib bordi.
