Tabbouleh
Tabbouleh ((arabcha: تبولة), shuningdek, tabule, tabuli, tabuli yoki tabula singari nomlari ham uchraydi) asosan mayda toʻgʻralgan maydanozdan tayyorlangan, pomidor, yalpiz, piyoz, pishmagan bulgʻor va zaytun moyi, limon sharbati, tuz va shirin qalampir qoʻshilgan Levant salatidir. Baʼzi variantlariga koʻra unga salat bargi qoʻshiladi yoki bulgʻor oʻrniga manna yormasidan foydalaniladi[1].

Tabbouleh anʼanaviy ravishda Sharqiy Oʻrta yer dengizi va arab dunyosida meze taomining bir qismi sifatida dasturxonga tortiladi[2][3][4][5][6]. Humus, baba gannush, pita noni va arab oshxonasining boshqa taomlari kabi tabbouleh ham Amerika Qoʻshma Shtatlarida mashhur taom turiga aylangan[7][8].
Etimologiyasi
tahrirLevant arabchasidagi tabbūle arabcha tābil soʻzidan olingan boʻlib, oromiycha tbl soʻzidan kelib chiqqan, „ziravor“[9][10] yoki soʻzma-soʻz tarjima qilinganda „pishirmoq“ degan maʼnoni anglatadi. Bu soʻzning ingliz tilida qoʻllanishi birinchi marta 1950-yillarda paydo boʻlgan[9].
