Umar ibn Abu Rabi’a al-Maxzumiy (arabcha: عمر بن أبي ربيعة) (644-yil noyabr, Makka – 712–719, Makka) – arab shoiri. Toʻliq ismi Abulxattob Umar Ibn Abdulloh Ibn Abi Rabi’a ibn al-Mogʻayra ibn Abdulloh ibn Umar ibn Maxzum ibn al-Murromiy[1]. Makkadagi Quraysh qabilasi Banu Maxzum urugʻining badavlat oilalaridan birida tugʻilgan. Otasining ismi Abdulloh, onasining ismi Asmo binti Muharriba. Umar biograf Ibn Xallikon tomonidan „Quraysh qabilasidan yetishib chiqqan eng yaxshi shoir“ sifatida tavsiflangan[2].

Umar ibn Abu Rabiʼa oʻzining ishqiy sheʼriyati va islom adabiyotida gʻazalning adabiy shaklini yaratuvchilardan biri sifatida tanilgan[3]. Ibn Xallikonning soʻzlariga koʻra, Umarning al-Suraya binti Ali ibn Abdulloh ibn al-Horis ibn Umayya al-Ashgʻar ibn Abdushams ibn Abdumannofga mehri tushgan, u mashhur shoir Qutayla bint an-Nadrning nabirasi boʻlgan. U Suhayl ibn Abdurahmon ibn Avf al-Zuhriga turmushga chiqqan.
