U Polsha Fanlar Akademiyasi Sanʼat institutida gumanitar fanlar boʻyicha doktorlik darajasini olishga erishgan. 1987–1992-yillarda Adabiyot tadqiqotlari institutida oʻqituvchi boʻlib ham ishlagan. 1996–1998 yillarda Varshavadagi Jurnalistika markazida soha qiziquvchilariga maʼruza oʻqigan, 2001-yildan Varshava universitetida reportaj yoʻnalishidan va adabiyot tarixi fanidan dars bergan. 2011-yildan Varshavadagi Reportaj instituti bilan oʻzaro hamkorlik qilgan.
Adabiy faoliyati
tahrirU oʻzining adabiy faoliyatini ommaviy davriy nashrlarda teatr haqidagi publitsistik maqolalar muallifi sifatida boshlagan va uni tarjimai hol va adabiy reportajga qiziqishi bilan uygʻunlashtira olgan. U oʻzining ilk ijodiy ishini 1990-yilda Varshavalik aktrisa Mariya Visnovskaning „fin de siècle“ sarlavhasi ostida chop etilgan tarjimayi holi bilan qilgan[1]. Xuddi shu yili u Parijdagi Adabiyot institutida ruslar istilosi natijasida qul boʻlgan poytaxtning hayoti va madaniyatini tasvirlaydigan Varshavadagi ruslar kitobini[2] nashr etdi. 1994-yilda u "Singer: Landscapes of Memory" kitobini nashr etdi[3], asar Polshada tugʻilgan va Yahudiy tilida yozgan Nobel mukofoti sovrindori Isaak Bashevis Qoʻshiqchining tarjimai holi haqida edi. Agata Tuszynska ushbu kitob uchun AQSh, Isroil, Fransiya va Polshaning kichik shaharlari va qishloqlarida materiallar toʻplagan. Polshada koʻp marta qayta nashr etilgan kitob AQSh va Fransiyada ham nashr etilgan.
Tuszynska Polsha yahudiylarining tobora yoʻqolib borayotgan dunyosiga boʻlgan qiziqishini davom ettirdi, shuningdek, fransuzcha tarjima bilan "Portraits with Poland in the Background" asari nashrdan chiqdi[4]. Confessions of a Temptress[5] – yozuvchining isteʼdodi va uning qay darajada feminist ekanini ochib berolgan asari. „Literary News“ muallifi va Tadeush Boy-Zelenskining azaliy doʻsti Irena Krjivicka haqida xotiralar bilan boyigan asaridir. Tuszinska uni Parij yaqinidagi kichkina shaharchada yozgan edi. Adiba oʻzining 1999-yilda "The Long Life of a Temptress" nomli [6] kitobini nashrdan chiqardi.
"A Family History of Fear"[7] Tuszinskaning 2005-yil mart oyida chiqqan va Prix Medicis mukofotiga nomzod boʻlgan bestseller asari, u polyak va yahudiy ajdodlari taqdirini yoritib bergan dramatik hikoyadir. 2016-yil may oyida kitob Knopf tomonidan ingliz tilida nashr etilgan. Turmush oʻrtogʻining saratoni bilan kurashi haqidagi hikoyasi "Exercises of Loss" nomi bilan yozgan asari[8] Agata Tuszinskaning hayotiy kitobi sifatida qaraladi, shuningdek, ushbu asari fransuz (Grasset, 2009) va koreys (2012) tillarida nashr etilgan.
