Metropolitenlar roʻyxati
Metro tizimilari roʻyxati — metro tizimlarining ushbu roʻyxatiga butun dunyo boʻylab elektrlashtirilgan tezyurar poezd tizimlari kiradi. Dunyoning baʼzi qismlarida metro tizimlari metro, U-Bahnen yoki subway deb nomlanadi. 2017-yil dekabr holatiga koʻra, dunyoning 56 mamlakatidagi 178 shahrida[1] 180 ga yaqin metro tizimlari mavjud. London metropoliteni birinchi marta 1863-yilda „yer osti temir yoʻli“ sifatida ochilgan va 1890-yilda[2] birinchi elektrlashtirilgan yer osti liniyasi dunyodagi eng qadimgi metro tizimiga aylantirilgan[3]. Eng uzun metro tizimi — Pekin metropoliteni[4]; eng zoʻr avtobus Pekin metropoliteni[5][6]; va eng koʻp stansiyalarga ega bu Nyu-York shahri metropolitenidir[5]. Xitoy metro tizimlariga ega boʻlgan shaharlarning eng koʻp soniga ega, 2019-yilga kelib ularning soni 40 tadan oshadi[7].
Mulohazalar
tahrirXalqaro jamoat transporti assotsiatsiyasi (LʼUnion Internationale des Transports Publics yoki UITP) metro tizimlarini „oʻz yoʻlida ishlaydigan va umumiy yoʻl va piyodalar qatnovidan ajratilgan“ shahar yoʻlovchi tashish transport tizimlari sifatida belgilaydi[8][9]. Ogʻir temir yoʻl (asosan Shimoliy Amerikada) va ogʻir shahar temir yoʻllari atamalari asosan „metro“ atamasi bilan sinonimdir[10][11][12]. Ogʻir temir yoʻl tizimlari, shuningdek, „elektr temir yoʻl“ deb ham aniq belgilangan.
Metro va jamoat transportining boshqa turlari, masalan, yengil temir yoʻl va shahar temir yoʻllari oʻrtasidagi ajratish liniyasi har doim ham aniq emas va UITP faqatgina „metro“ va „yengil temir yoʻl[10][11]“ oʻrtasida farqlarni keltirib chiqaradi, Amerika jamoat transporti assotsiatsiyasi (APTA) va Federal Tranzit maʼmuriyati (FTA)[10][11] barcha uch rejimlarni ajratib turadi[10][11]. Metroni yengil temir yoʻldan ajratishning keng tarqalgan usuli bu ularning boshqa transport vositalaridan ajralib chiqishidir. Yengil temir yoʻl tizimlari yoʻllarni oʻzaro taqsimlashi yoki temir yoʻl kesishmalariga ega boʻlishiga qaramay, metro tizimi deyarli har doim piyodalar va boshqa transport vositalariga kirish huquqiga ega boʻlmagan, alohida ajratilgan eksklyuziv trassada ishlaydi. Va shahar temir yoʻlidan yoki yengil temir yoʻldan farqli oʻlaroq, metro tizimlari asosan shahar ichidagi transport uchun ishlatiladi va xizmat koʻrsatishning yuqori chastotalariga va yoʻlovchilarni tashish hajmiga nisbatan ancha yuqori. Bundan tashqari, koʻpgina metro tizimlari yoʻllarni yuk poyezdlari yoki shaharlararo temir yoʻl transporti bilan almashmaydi. Ammo tizim poʻlat gʻildiraklar yoki rezina shinalar bilan ishlaydimi yoki elektr taʼminoti uchinchi relsdan yoki havo liniyasidanmi, muhim emas.
Tizimning nomi qoʻshilish yoki istisno qilish mezoni emas. Baʼzi shaharlar tez tranzit tarkibiga ega boʻlmagan tranzit liniyasi uchun marka sifatida metrodan foydalanadilar. Xuddi shunday, tezkor tranzit tizimi boʻlishning barcha mezonlariga javob beradigan markali yengil temir yoʻl tizimlari mavjud. Baʼzi tizimlar, shuningdek, umumiy nom ostida katta tizimning bir qismi sifatida yengil metro yoki yengil temir yoʻllarni oʻz ichiga oladi. Bular roʻyxatda keltirilgan, ammo taqdim etilgan tarmoq maʼlumotlarida yengil temir yoʻl liniyalari hisobga olinmaydi. Baʼzi bir tranzit tarmoqlari metro tizimlarining xizmat koʻrsatish standartlariga mos kelishi mumkin, ammo shahar tashqarisiga chiqadi va baʼzan S-Bahn, shahar atrofi, mintaqaviy yoki shaharlararo temir yoʻl deb nomlanadi. Bular ushbu roʻyxatga kiritilmagan. Shuningdek, funikulyar tizimlar ham, koʻngil ochish parki, changʻi kurorti va aeroport transport tizimlari kabi odamlar harakatlanmaydi.
Ushbu roʻyxat bir shaharda yoki metropoliya hududida bir nechta metrolar alohida egalari yoki operatsion kompaniyalari boʻlgan taqdirda metrolarni alohida-alohida sanab chiqadi. Ushbu roʻyxat aniq bir shahar yoki poytaxt mintaqasining umumiy tezkor tranzit tarmogʻining hajmini koʻrsatishga qaratilgan emas. Ushbu roʻyxatdagi maʼlumotlardan shahar, mintaqa yoki mamlakatning shahar temir yoʻl tranzit tizimlari hajmini aniqlash yoki reyting tuzish uchun foydalanmaslik kerak.

As example Tokyo Metro and the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation's Toei Subway constitute only 22 % of the 14.6 billion metropolitan railway ridership in Greater Tokyo (MLIT Yearly Statistics). In addition, when one considers intracity lines of JR East and private railway companies, Greater Tokyo (130 lines) has higher daily ridership than any other metropolitan area in the world with 14.6 billion passengers annually. The Osaka Municipal Subway also has only a minority share of all metropolitan railway ridership in Greater Osaka, constituting only 17.6 % of Greater Osakaʼs 4.745 billion rail passengers annually in 2010. Including the municipal subway systems in both Kobe and Kyoto, the result still only comprises 22 % of all rail travel in the Greater Osaka area with 1065.8 million passengers yearly (MLIT Yearly Statistics). For Greater Nagoya, the Nagoya Municipal Subway has only a minority share of all metropolitan railway ridership in Greater Nagoya constituting only 38 % of Greater Nagoyaʼs 1.095 billion rail passengers annually in 2010 (MLIT Yearly Statistics).
